NACRE

Est. 2016 — Downtown Dubai

The smile isdesignedbefore a tooth is touched.

A single-suite cosmetic dentistry atelier in Dubai. Prosthodontist, orthodontist and ceramist work one case at a time — and you wear the proposed shape on your own face before anything becomes permanent.

01Philosophy

We are slower than
most clinics.
Deliberately.

Cosmetic dentistry went wrong the day it became a same-day product. A smile is a facial feature, not a set of ten identical white rectangles — it has to fit a lip line, a speech pattern, an age and a face. That takes appointments, photographs, an argument or two, and a willingness to start again.

01

Nothing irreversible without a rehearsal

Every cosmetic case begins with a trial smile you wear home. If the length is wrong, we redraw it. Enamel does not grow back, so the drawing happens first.

02

The most conservative option that works

Aligners before veneers. Bonding before ceramic. We would rather lose the larger case than remove tooth structure that did not need removing.

03

One ceramist, every case

Shade, translucency and surface texture are chosen with the person who will build the work, in daylight, with your face in the room — not emailed to a lab as a number.

02Treatments

Seven things we do,
and nothing we don’t.

Each of these begins with an assessment, and each of them can end with us telling you that you do not need it.

03Specialists

Four clinicians.
No associates rotating through.

The person who assesses you is the person who treats you, and they are here next year to answer for it.

01

Dr. Leila Marchetti

DDS, MSc Prosthodontics

Leila trained in Milan and spent six years restoring worn dentitions before opening NACRE. She still refuses to prepare a tooth before a patient has worn the trial smile home.

Dr. Adam Haddad

BDS, MSc Implantology

Adam plans every case backwards — the final crown is designed first, and the fixture position follows it. He teaches guided surgery two weekends a month.

Dr. Sophie Verhoeven

DDS, Specialist Orthodontist

Sophie argues — usually successfully — that moving a tooth is kinder than shaving it. Around half of NACRE’s cosmetic cases now start in her chair.

04

Dr. Karim Nasser

BDS, MFDS RCS

Karim sees every new patient before a cosmetic plan is written. He is the reason a fair number of them leave with a hygiene appointment instead of veneers.

04Technology

Equipment is not
a differentiator.
Knowing when to use it is.

Half of this list exists to avoid guessing. The other half exists to avoid taking away more tooth than necessary.

01

Intraoral scanning

Digital impressions instead of alginate trays. Faster, more accurate, and no gag reflex to negotiate.

02

CBCT imaging

Low-dose 3D imaging used for implant planning and root assessment. Taken only when the answer changes the plan.

03

Guided surgery

Printed guides derived from the scan, so the implant goes exactly where it was planned in software.

04

In-house ceramics

A dedicated ceramist working on site — shade and texture decided with you present, not by courier.

05

Magnification

Every restorative and cosmetic procedure carried out under loupes or a microscope. Margins you cannot see are margins you cannot control.

06

Photographic records

A standardised series at every stage, in the same light, so change is documented rather than described.

05Before & after

Illustrative studies,
not marketing photographs.

These are drawn schematics used to explain what each treatment actually changes. Real patient photography is added only with written consent and never retouched.

BeforeAfterIllustration — not a patient photograph

Clear aligners, 11 months

Alignment only. No tooth structure was removed and no ceramic was placed.

06In their words

What patients actually say.

“I came in convinced I needed ten veneers. I left with a plan for aligners and two bonded edges, which cost a fraction of what I had budgeted. That conversation is why I stayed.”

Feedback shown here was written for this demonstration. A live deployment would surface verified reviews from a third-party platform rather than copy chosen by the clinic.

07Why NACRE

Four commitments,
each of which
costs us money.

01

You approve the shape before it exists

A printed trial smile is worn home, photographed, criticised and redrawn as many times as it takes. No preparation happens until you sign it off.

02

Written, staged costs

Every stage is priced before it starts. Nothing appears on an invoice that you have not already read and agreed to.

03

One chair, one patient, one hour

We do not run parallel chairs. Nobody is left numb in another room while your clinician finishes someone else.

04

We will tell you not to

Roughly a third of the people who arrive asking for veneers leave with a plan for aligners, bonding, or nothing at all.

08The atelier

A consultation
takes an hour.

It is the appointment that decides whether the rest of the treatment is right, so it is the one we refuse to shorten.

  1. Arrival

Coffee or mint tea, no clipboard. Your history is taken as a conversation, not a form.

  2. Records

Photography and a digital scan in a room designed for daylight rather than fluorescent tubes.

  3. The screen

You see what we see — every image, at size, with the findings explained in plain language.

  4. The plan

Options, costs and trade-offs written down. You leave with a document, not a pressure to decide.

09Questions

The ones we are
asked most often.

Yes, for anything cosmetic or surgical. The consultation exists so that we can tell you honestly whether the treatment you want is the treatment you need — and occasionally to talk you out of it.
